Spring Green

Solomon’s Seal and I upon boulders

betwixt bubbling streams

absorbing rays through Spring green.

Luscious scent of Russian Olive

everywhere.

Still Smiling

Deep woods hike
Sudden downpour
Soaked to the bone.

Blessed by
transformation:
Lady Godiva
sans equus.

Drove home
in only a blanket.

Still smiling.
